Jim Carlton

James Carlton is a decorated E-5 class Sargent veteran of the 1991 Gulf War as a Bradley Infantry Gunner. Sgt Carlton and his division led the assault on the Republican Guard, for which he was honored with an “Arcom with Valor” award for saving his platoon from an enemy minefield. Sgt Carlton was honorably discharged in 1992 and has since pursued a career in precision machining.

Jim began United CNC Machining in 2009, and has been an invaluable member of the team ever since. Although Jim’s primary place is currently managing the organization’s quality and all compliance programs, he is a manufacturing guru who is responsible for streamlining our operations and troubleshoots all complex jobs before they ever hit the floor to ensure production runs smoothly.

Some of Jim’s favorite pastimes include sport & trap shooting and biking. However, as a committed father, he spends every waking moment he has with his two wonderful children—his daughter Madison and his son Jimmy—who keep his personal life very busy, going between Maddie’s gymnastics competitions and Jimmy’s scout meetings. United CNC Machining is incredibly fortunate to have such a devoted individual on our team!
